"We are delighted to introduce Mr. Terry Connuaghton, Mrs. Linda Murphy as 2010 Grand Marshals and Reverend Robert Dunn as the Honored Clergy Member of the Throggs Neck Bronx Saint Patrick's Day Parade 2010.

Mr. and Mrs. Connaughton are the owners of the Riverdale Steak House for over 30 years. Mr. Connuaghton is a member of the St. Margaret of Cortona Parish and the proud father of five children. Mr. Connaughton is involved in New York Men's GAA, Honorary Lifetime President of the New York Ladies Board GAA as well as many other neighborhood endeavors. Mrs. Linda Murphy and her family are long-time Silver Beach residents, a St. Frances de Chantal Parish member and volunteers at Jeanne Jugan Residence, run by the Little Sisters of the Poor. Mrs. Murphy is the Founder of the Lt. Raymond E. Murphy Memorial Scholarship Fund, which gives educational grants annually in Ray’s memory. Mrs. Murphy is loving mother of two young men and adoring wife of Lt. Ray Murphy, a true hero who passed away on 9/11/01. Father Robert Dunn is this year’s Honored Clergy member. Father Dunn is the Chaplain of Jeanne Jugan Residence since July 2007. Father Dunn is also involved in youth ministry in surrounding area. Our 2010 Grand Marshals and Honored Clergy Member represent community service, spiritual dedication and Bronx Irish spirit, and we are very proud to have them lead the 2010 Throggs Neck St. Patrick’s Day Parade! Please join us as we congratulate them! We will also celebrate the lives of this year’s Honorary Grand Marshals, who will be honored post-humuously. We will be announcing the Honorary Grand Marshals soon.
