Sunday 15th March
St.Patrick's Day is fast approaching and we need to make sure everyone has all the details regarding the weekend festivities! As is tradition for the VAFC the Aussie Rules Season actually kicks off with a game of Gaelic Football against the ISSC Irish team - this year on Sunday 15th March!
This has been a tradition from our first year of existence and truly is about having a great time, playing some sport and helping both codes of footy develop!
But, before the game we participate in the PARADE! This year will be bigger and better than ever and we want to make sure we have a huge turnout for the game. It really is a simple matter of walking down Granville Street, waving at the spectators and handing out flyers etc - you even get to kick the footy!
Along with any players from the VAFC or BAFC walking we are hopeful that some of the North Delta Juniors will be on board! So lets make this a really big day! If we can get over 30 people attending that would be great!
