Derry Saint Patrick's Day Parade 2008
Monday, March 17th at 2.30pm

Event organisers have put in place the final arrangements for St Patrick’s Day Spring Carnival
and are asking the public to support an innovative Carnival Care
campaign to ensure the event is enjoyed both safely and sensibly.

Derry City Council and the public events planning contingency team has put in place arrangements
to ensure the city can facilitate the number of local people and visitors who converge on the
city centre to enjoy the celebrations over the St Patrick’s Day weekend
– Friday 14th March – Monday 17th March 2008.

Derry City Council would ask that parents keep a watchful eye on children and young people
and to make them aware of the dangers of excessive drinking.
