'Come and visit Monaghan Town St. Patrick's Day Parade and join in the celebrations. From small beginnings, the Monaghan Town Parade has grown over the years to become one of the biggest and liveliest in the country.

As always, this year's event is set to provide plenty of fun and enjoyment for all the family. Along with a huge field of community and commercial entries, there will also be bouncy castles, face painting and live street music, something for everyone, whether young or young at heart. This year's parade will showcase the achievements and contribution made by the town and surrounding areas to industry, community development, sport and entertainment.

A live internet feed will allow the parade to be watched live from the four corners of the world as it passes the reviewing stand in The Diamond. Make sure to tell relatives and friends overseas to log in and don't forget to wave to them.

The parade starts from the Broad Road, Monaghan at 3pm.'
