National Historic Trails in Wyoming :

The California National Historic Trail was travelled in the 1840's by gold seekers en route to California ! Some 250,000 prospectors made the journey in search of their fortune.

Mormon Pioneer National Historic Trail - Wyoming
From 1846 to 1869, some 70,000 Mormons led Brigham Young blazed a trail from Nauvoo, Illinois, to Salt Lake City, Utah. Mormon Pioneer National Historic Trail, a major Wyoming attraction , is another example of the way America has accommodated all religions, faiths & beliefs.The Mormon migration was the search of religious freedom & freedom from persecution.

Oregon National Historic Trail - Wyoming
In 1843, a wagon train crossed the Rocky Mountains for the first time. Their epic journey was named the "Great Migration" It started in Independence in Missouri & ended at the Pacific .

Pony Express National Historic Trail traverses Wyoming. Not widely known is that the 1,800 miles from St. Joseph Missouri to Sacramento California was accomplished in just ten days! Before the telegraph the Pony Express was the only fast way for both personal & business communications to be delivered across the continent. It operated for only 18 months between April 1860 and October 1861 but the advent of the telegraph heralded its demise. There are 120 Pony Express historic sites .
